Is it just me or does RIO works worse then ever?
My character hasn’t been updated since five days and I have tried to upgrade it since yesterday without any success.
RIO often show wrong score or even don’t show my main score at all for alts!
Anyone else experience far more problems lately with RIO?
Haven’t noticed any problems
However since I play a new char this season, it no longer shows my mains s3 score
It was for a while then stopped, I think that’s intended though

Are you updating the addon or are you taking about the actual browser website?
Maybe you don’t have the paid premium version that increases the number of times it gets updated per day. The browser should update when you click the update but the tooltip is only updated a limited number of times, especially if you don’t have a Patreon.
Also you need to refresh your Battlenet connection on the site to show alts.
You have to update the app daily if you want to see score changes, it can not push live data changes to you on it’s own. Those daily updates are the changes to library used to hold all the player scores.
You have to update the app. They do it every day. You also should make sure you’re going to the site and scanning your character there, so that your current progress will make it into the next day’s update.
Aye! I have been updating the addons each day via overwolf. The problem is that when I manually try to update the character on RIO website it doesn’t update. It took two whole days before the update did execute properly.
That is true I don’t pay for the service. But the character should at least update once each day right? Maybe more ppl are playing and the Q get long?
Rio has deleted most season leaderboards. The addon is annoying to update and it takes too much memory for something that’s already in the game, I think I’ll just delete it.
They have a desktop app that will auto update.

You’re not wrong but I don’t like a lot of things running on my computer.

I usually open the app, let it update, then force close it. Same with curse forge.

Its not a blizzard controlled website. My guess is theyre just updating the front end every day or something. IM sure the addon polls from a physical database of sorts but havent really looked much into it. Once you get to a certain level your score isnt going to change that much to worry about if your 2000 or 2010.

That is true! But I did just start the season so I only have 1400 ish score and it is a huge deal to have 600 or 1400 RIO while applying in pug.
I’m Glad that did get the slime cat and raided the first weeks so balance and bugs was kinda sorted out before joint m+ once more.
Well i dont check my addon that often but long as that is i wouldnt worry too much. When i make groups i just go by whats in group finder rarely do i go to RIO Website. The hard part about DPS is you litterally have 50-60 people signing up so picking one is like almost closing your eyes and just clicking randomly heh
That is true! Im holy priest with good score from both s2 and s3, so at least a bit easier to join pug. Fortunately are my old RIO available for display while applying!
I think it’s if your current score crosses 70% of last season’s score it stops showing the prior.
Sign in, refresh your bnet account data and update character. I do donate to their Patreon because I appreciate the service they provide and felt it was worth a few bucks a month.

Pugs looking at your score will always see the up-to-date score in-game regardless of whether you use RIO or not–the score is baked into Blizzard’s base features now.
What a pug leader looking to fill out their 5-man will NOT see if you’re RIO is not up to date is your dungeon history of how many +15s or +10-14s you’ve cleared and what your highest key is on each dungeon for both fortified and tyrannical. Personally I don’t look at just the score; I look at the other info RIO provides for a better picture of a player’s experience (i.e., only 1 run in each dungeon at +15 and no run below that was probably a paid carry; hard pass).

More of if the group leaders RIO is up to date. If the OPs addon is out of date it won’t matter to what the Leaders IO is.
Ty for making that point of character history, so many people neglect to mention that. The RIO addon makes is easy to sniff out people boosted.
Once your current score surpasses your old score, the old score no longer shows.
As far as alts you need to go into settings and make sure one of the boxes is checked.
The only issue I’ve noticed is it takes a few days of doing M+ for the add on to recognize your alt and then add your mains score to the add on. Everything else works great.
