Raid Tank Mechanic idea for the Blizzard Devs:

I was strategizing about the Queen Ansurak fight, and misunderstood a Mechanic to be the following, I thought the Mechanic I imagined was cool and wished it was part of the Encounter.

Put the Tanks on small ~20 Yard-wide platforms.
Then give the Mobs there a single-target 1-time-cast ~100 yard Knockback like the 2nd Boss in Dawnbreaker.
All the Tank Classes have a tool that could save them somehow.

Warrior = Charge/Heroic Leap
Druid = Charge
Monk = Teleport-Clone
Demon Hunter = Fel Leap
Death Knight = lol they’ll hardly even notice it (Death’s Advance OP)

The worst that comes to mind is Paladin, since they’d need to fully Bubble or BOP it, but I myself am a Paladin who plays Prot (along with the other 2 Specs) and I think it’d be a fun Mechanic.

It also introduces interesting Skill-Expression for tools like Life Grip or Lizard-Leap (Rescue? IDK I don’t play Evoker).

It sounds neat on paper, but what effect would it have?

Most raid mechanics fall into one if two categories.
1- as setup for other mechanics. IE Web Balls on Council for the charge, Adds that leave food on firstboss.
2- Avoidance or soaks for the raid as wipe mechanics.

This idea doesnt really fall under those. Maybe a wipe mechanic if the tank gets knocked off, but thats all it is.
