Raid Story Mode?

Basically some cool rewards for couch and beer effort. And you get to sse the cinematic.

Well I mean I literally said in the second paragraph that it’s a fan site.

Nothing that happens inside WoW happens because of anything posted on a 3rd party fan website.

If you want change in wow you’ll need to reach out to blizzard directly.

Wow head intentionally maintains a level of separation from the game.

Wowhead stays independent from influencing WoW to keep things fair and balanced. It’s a resource hub, not a game changer. By staying neutral, it avoids pushing certain strategies or messing with Blizzard’s design choices.

If Wowhead directly influenced WoW, it could result in unintended consequences, such as favoring certain playstyles or strategies based on external popularity, which might disrupt the balance Blizzard strives to maintain in the game.

You don’t want WoW head impacting game design. This ensures that all bad decisions and or good decisions are from blizzard directly.

Now that you understand how news media should work (staying unbiased) you can get back to recommending them because it’s great at what it provides. (Generally speaking) everything has room for improvement in life.

What errant nonsense. Fan sites don’t just regurgitate news and information… they’re relied upon by the player base, and even the developers, to reflect what’s going on in the game. That includes reporting on massive bugs and issues which Wowhead already does sometimes. But only sometimes.

The problem is that Wowhead never wants to report on things the developers don’t seem to want to see, and that’s shameful. The fact that much of its open world endgame content is bugged is a massive problem in the game, certainly worthy of being reported on. MMO Champion just did it. But Wowhead? Crickets.

If you think for a minute that Wowhead is “independent” then I have swampland in Antarctica to sell you. Case in point: you can log into Wowhead with your Blizzard ID.

You’re like mega dense.

Wowhead is an independent website and not directly affiliated with blizzard. The option to log in with your WoW ID is similar to how many other websites allow users to log in via Google, Facebook, or other platforms. This login process uses Blizzard’s authentication system for convenience but doesn’t give Blizzard direct control over Wowhead. Your WoW ID simply acts as a way to log in more easily, without sharing additional personal or game data beyond what is needed for authentication.

Learn how stuff works Jez. What’s next you going to tell me people are eating cats and dogs in Springfield?

It’s like you know wow logs were you can do the same. You know that logging website made by a ff14 player.

Sure.

Wowhead is a news site and has an obligation to call things good OR bad, and they’re falling asleep at the switch. But you do you, man. You’re still wrong though.
