Raids as early as Blackrock Foundry had a quest you picked up in the raid that would allow you to skip certain bosses in the raid. The one thing I would like see done with these quests is make them account wide so all of our alts can have the same skip as our Main raiding toon does. I feel not everyone raids on there main toon and would those who may decide to go back when the raid becomes old content on any toon and farm any boss(es) they wanted with out needing to do most if not all of the raid.
With that you mean bypass the attunements at you worked for at that level or when you toon reaches 120 then go back? if the later, you don’t need the attunements at 120.
I think me means like in Emerald Nightmare where you could do that quest that let you use the well and skip to the last bosses or even like Black Temple would be nice where you can portal once you’ve killed certain bosses and don’t require a quest.
The skip is what allowed you to by pass the entrance bosses and get to the progression ones, usually the last 2 or 3. The lack of such a thing is bothersome to some progression guilds.
The Raid Skip quest i mean is the one you would do from raids like Emreald Nightmare, the last 2 raids from WOD and i think the last 2 raids of Legion had them as well. As mentioned the one in Emreald Nightmare would allow you to do the last 2 bosses with out doing the other 4 bosses, this would be great if you completed the quest on your raiding toon but 1-2 expansios later you wanted to get the transmog looks for your alts who may not wear the same gear type or set as the raiding toon you had when you did that raid.
Uldir it would make sense to be able to override the stairs and bypass the outer ring bosses (and perhaps punk Zul by dropping him into Mythrax’s gullet).
Dazar…not sure how you’d frame a bypass. Horde could maybe ignore the scout’s flashback to the middle three but Alliance can’t.
