I just reached renown 5 operating under the assumption that I would now have the raid skip. I do not. What i was met with is a quest to kill mugzee to unlock the skip. Which isnt remotely indicated in the tooltip for the skip.
Why? Why are you gating the raid skip even more?
Yes it was. It specifically says you have to down Mugzee to skip on your selected difficulty.
It’s not new. The tooltip reflected this since at least last week, if not the whole time.
No it does not.
The tooltip explicitly implies if you have killed mugzee you would have the skip. No where does it say do a quest again, to kill mugzee to unlock the skip. The implication is pretty clear that if youve killed mugzee you should have had the skip at renown 5. Which is not the case
Killing the boss once to unlock the skip is fine.
Killing it 3 times was dumb.

Raid Skip unlocked:
If you have defeated Mug’Zee on your present difficulty, after defeating Vexie and the Geargrinders an NPC will fly in with a rocket you can use to skip between bosses 7 and 8.
Mug’Zee must be killed on each difficulty to open the skip for that difficulty.
Even if you aren’t Renown 5, you can use this NPC to travel within the raid depending on the bosses defeated. The Renown is only necessary to skip ahead early while those bosses are still alive.

No where is there an implication of getting a quest to kill mugzee again.
