Guess we are doing the holiday raiding thing again. RIP to raiders with families. Im sure World First guilds are thrilled by this.
Do people actually spend an entire week or two with family over the holidays? My family only ever gets together on Christmas Day and New Years Eve, so I don’t see what the problem is ![]()
If it makes you feel better, mythic will be available on the 12th. That’s nearly 2 weeks of raiding before you have to go visit family.
Some of us have to travel and this time of year is the only time we get to see our families. So yes, extremely inconvenient timing. Moreover as a casual raid lead holidays are always breaktimes from raiding because most of the raid is doing similar things.
I’m praying they announce a delay and push everything back a month.
Yes, they should set the release date for after the holidays when no one has as much free time.
Not likely. They know when the best time to make $ is.
WoW addicts will be playing WoW even on holidays while ignoring their families yelling at them. I don’t see a difference tbh.
Does Blizzard need to always hold everyone’s hand?
Can’t people just decide to raid or not over the holiday break like a normal human?
Handcuffing the entire player base because some people travel over the holidays seems very selfish.
Blizzard has loved November releases for the entirety of WoW.
Holidays = less free time for adults with families. But I guess Im not the target demo anymore. shrug
This literally makes no sense lol. People will have the most time to play in December.
Okay? You know the raids are going to be there for months right? But nah Blizz should shift everything to cater to ya’ll.
There are plenty of players that aren’t in your situation that are going to love having all the free time to play. Stop acting like your situation is the only one that matters.
Well, I know kids get new videos games and such and I’d love to spend time doing stuff with them. But no, because if you fall behind in ilvl then it only gets harder to get into stuff. Sad truth.
Children have more time to. Adults typically have less. But oh well Im the minority it seems.
Unless you do this professionally or have beef with your family, y’all wild for raiding instead of being with your family.
Are the children not going with their parents to visit family lol?
Idk what kind of situations some of yall be in, but you are definitely in the minority lmao.
This game has nothing to offer besides keys/raiding/pvp. Delaying raiding for a month is just not the move.
Atleast they’re giving yall 2 weeks to raid
My dream as a kid was to spend a holiday gaming.
As an adult, too…
Sick opinion lol
Guess im the minority lmao
Screw people with families rofl
Anyone different than me is weird Lul
Are people upset that they have to choose between family and not getting some stupid title that doesn’t mean anything?
It seems pretty obvious that 1 you should choose
Title.
This.
If you care so much about raiding it interferes with your family life, you need to re-evaluate what you’re doing with your life, not blame Blizzard for releasing content at a time that may be personally inconvenient for you.
You don’t have to play content the second it comes out. It’ll still be there the day after Christmas. And the day after that.
Why just yesterday, I went over to my mother’s house for dinner and brought over a gallon of milk, like I do every Wednesday evening. I didn’t say, “Ma, I can’t spend time with you because I have to make level 72 in Wrath.”
Not everybody travels to be with their family, and not everybody who cares about their family is with them 24/7 over the holidays.
Restricting the release of a new game simply because a minority of people need to apparently play every single day or go after a ranking is selfish.
What about the retail employees who want something to look forwards to when they get home? Want Dragonflight for a holiday gift? What about people who get a week or two off during this season but not any other time of year? Oh, the family that actually plays together? That doesn’t happen either.
This literally only impacts people going for HoF rankings and the world first race. If you’re so addicted to WoW that you need to raid for a couple days during the holiday season for a ranking, get therapy. If you do this as a job, you knew what you signed up for and people who have to work in the real world during this time of year really aren’t going to take pity on you.
whats more important? game or family?
