Patch 1.9.0 (2006-01-03):
The raid-lockout system has undergone a significant change. The new system will have all instances reset at a certain server time, regardless of when you were actually saved to the instance. The reset schedule is as follows:
Molten Core: Every 7 Days, resetting during weekly maintenance.
Blackwing Lair: Every 7 Days, resetting during weekly maintenance
Onyxia: Every 5 Days
Zul’Gurub: Every 3 Days
Temple of Ahn’Qiraj (40-man): Every 7 Days, resetting during weekly maintenance
Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj (20-man): Every 3 Days
The above is a quote I found on a discord regarding old raid lockout schedules. Are we expecting this to be accurate for classic, or are we more likely to end up with the 7 day lockouts all around?
First a little background about me playing.
I started playing WOW shortly after the release of Burning Crusade. I have all the expansions right up to BFA. To this day I have only done a total of 3 dungeons. I have never done a raid.
As Soon as I found out Vote to kick existed. Even though I personally have never been removed from a dungeon group, just the mere possibility that 3 other players can just decide to let me finish for whatever reasons they come up with (Legit or not) and not have anything happen to them, is more than enough to deter me from ever wanting to ever group with anyone in this game. Since that 3rd Dungeon to current, I have never grouped with anyone since.
I would rather miss out on some end game content that I will out grow in several levels, than deal with all the abusive fignuts that play this.
Furthermore raids have never made any sense to me regarding their set up, or anything like that, to me it’s nothing more than just a mass group of players clustered together spamming attacks and idiots in that group using 3rd party program to display DPS amounts and crap, which is then used to start problems.
So until Blizzard makes Vote to kick disband the entire group when used, it’s a total waste of Time to go into raids with the way people’s attitudes are in online games

I checked your achievements and apparently, you were dungeon spamming Wrath heroics when they were current, getting those badges to gear up like the rest of us.
I didn’t even bother to check the other expansions.
That’s weird, I’ve caused wipes in groups, I’ve done stupid things, and the ONLY time I’ve ever been kicked from a group was the one time that the tank told the rogue to kick the heals (that the boss was casting), and the group confused that with kick the healer. And I couldn’t be mad about that. It wasted a lot of my time, but it was funny.
It is people like you who ruined retail - making it cater to single players. What made the game popular WAS the teamwork with “other people.” Maybe you like to live in your little bubble and have mom bring you food, but the rest of the world likes to actually interact with people. Might want to learn people skills if you want to survive in the real world my friend.
I wouldn’t be soloing if people like you didn’t act the way they do. I refuse to want to be around any such as yourself. Just look at your reply here, no responsibility for how you PUSH people into doing things solo, and then blame the people going solo of ruining retail BY being solo which was caused by people like you pushing them into it. Again no responsibility for your own actions that cause people to not want to group. I cannot even post I go solo without you having an attitude from half the people on this forum which proves my point and shows that what i said on why I don’t group to be true.
Don’t act like a jerk and maybe people will want to group. Keep attacking people and your sure to want people to be around you. For those that want to say look in the mirror…All I did was post why I don’t group which was abuse and I refuse to be subject myself to that type of abuse…And all anyone can do is make crap up and lie. and condemn me for not joining groups despite the abuse issues as if I don’t take the abuse I must somehow be causing problems.
Want to know why people don’t group, it’s because no one can do anything without getting ganged up upon and being accused of doing things and lied about…and for what? In classic WOW I won’t be joining any groups…the people’s attitudes in this forum is more than enough to not subjecting myself to the sheer amount of attitude and abuse this boiling over.

Stop posting stupid comments as if people are the ones choosing not be around me when. I’m the one not joining people from a decision I chose to make, I also decline invites to pretty much everything anyone sends me, I also turn of chat for long periods of time.
I chose to not be around anyone so don’t try post things making out like people are avoiding me. unless they happen to see me go by them. Barely anyone even knows I’m in the game because I CHOOSE to hide and not make myself known and not because people don’t want to be around me.
(Just as an FYI, I generally don’t care for armory trolling, but in certain cases… I’m willing to make exceptions. I dislike people who are less than honest.)
