Raid Locked! A solution?

I strongly think that a pop notification telling the player if any or all raid bosses have been killed. With a pop up you would at the very least have a chance at getting reset.

Our raid got saved to MC when an alt joined the raid but did not enter the instance. We all submitted tickets and got the same responses, the gm’s told us that if any mobs are killed there is nothing they can do. I was also informed that you need to check raid ID’s before starting the clear. The GM’s told us every instance of this happening is looked at individually and is very hard to get a Raid ID reset.

To avoid this situation I offer a solution. Add a pop up showing the player the bosses killed asking them if they are sure they wish to continue to clear this raid. I did not play vanilla but I have been told that this pop up or something similar was in vanilla.

The Reddit link below is going to show you a situation of this happening and the guild getting a Raid ID reset. Their situation is very similar to ours. Feel free to add to this. I don’t want to sound like I am complaining too much so don’t take it that way, what is done is done and I would just like something to be implemented to avoid any further issue arising on this topic for anyone else.

Thank you for that

I haven’t experienced this issue yet in Classic but I remember something similar happening to me in WotLK and it was super annoying.
I wouldn’t be opposed to a warning window that made sure that joining players knew exactly what raid (or rather which bosses) they were getting into

It wasn’t anything they couldn’t fix or roll back they just wouldn’t. There was more that the gm’s said to us which was more or less f**k off c*nts better luck next time but I didn’t want to rant about it. I just wanted to offer a preventative solution.
