So a quick question about how raid IDs work with a quick backstory. A few of my raiders entered a fresh MC instance yesterday with another guild to do what was advetrtised as a trash run (so no bosses to be killed). Unfortunately, they decided to pull Lucifron (or was accidentally pulled idk) and my raiders instantly left the raid and hearthed out. Well, it turns out the raid killed Lucifron and now my raiders are locked to their ID. Now here’s my question:
Are they permanently locked to that ID for this week? Or if we kill Lucifron (making the progress of both IDs the same) will they be able to join my ID? On a completely unrelated note, Straight Outta Hillsbrad (while an awesome guild name) needs to get their %@$# together and not pull bosses during trash runs.
They are locked to that ID. You could join their ID and miss out on Lucifron if you want them to come this week.
So are all the other guys that were there so someone may of already cleared it. May want to send someone in who was saved to see if the dogs and surgers are still up. Cause if the are not at least garr and mag are down also.
Forgive my ignorance, but I thought you could accept a different Raid ID as long as they had equal or higher progress (might just be higher) than you? So as long as my ID has more bosses down than yours, you could accept mine? Am I just misremembering from my raiding days? Or was that a feature added after Vanilla?
EDIT: Nevermind, after a bit of research it looks like I was just misremembering and my raiders are screwed lol. Live and learn I suppse.
