Raid frames need colour coding

I’ll state the obvious first, it’d be great if the default raid frames had an option to colour code the players by their class. It’s difficult, especially in 40 person raids to locate players. At least if you could see at a glance who is a mage/priest/etc it’d make life much easier.

Now, second part: Is there an addon that will change the colour of the raid frames? I don’t mean a complete replacement like Shadowed Unit Frames or the like. I mean literally just colouring the default blizzard raid frames.

/console raidFramesDisplayClassColor 1

OMG why is that not an option that’s visible in edit mode. I didn’t even look in the “old” options for it. Thanks Elvenbane.

Dunno. I highly recommend grabbing https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/advancedinterfaceoptions as it’ll make it easy to find settings like this and adjust them.

The irony is I’ve already got that and it’s actually a setting in the standard options under raid frames. It’s just I never thought to look there. I just assumed it’d be a setting that would be accessed when you’re in edit mode actually changing the raid frames. I’ll have to try to remember I need to check multiple places from now on.

Oh yeah, didn’t notice it because when I searched the options for “raid” nothing under the Raid Frames heading was returned.

Is there an option to color by debuff? Or a lightweight addon for that? I’ve tried all manner of raid frames addons, and can’t find something easy and simple.
