Raid frame profiles... Where did they go?

I use the standard UI raid frames. Back before prepatch, I was able to save profiles to adjust to different raid sizes, but I can’t find that option anywhere. Anyone know where that is now?

As of right now I need to manually adjust the size of my raid frames every time I enter a type of content with a different raid size (10-man RBGs versus epic BG’s, for example), and then put it back when I’m done, which is loco.

It’s gone from what I see. I don’t know how I’m going to heal without raid style party frames

That one is actually still there! Click on the party frame window and select “Use raid-style party frames”

Most people are referring to raid frames as party frames not working in arena.

But yes, I can confirm that raid profiles are not in the game currently. Your raid frame is set in one window and saved to your UI, which massively sucks for for BG healing.

Super disappointed here! I am actually going to have to use MORE addons now. The UI rework has been pointless.

If you click “edit mode” → under editing the UI tick the box to put on raid frames, you set them up how you want them from there and save.

Similar, if you want the raid frame style as party frames, turn on party frames with the check box, then tick “use raid style frames” and save

It seems they moved a lot of customization away from easy settings and moved them into the edit UI settings

That page is a joke; 90% of the options are gone.

No class colors, health status text, mana bars, profiles.

If you go into edit mode you can right click on the raid frames and change them. They’re totally separate from the party frames. It would really help if blizz detailed all of these changes in a blog post instead of relying on the community to figure it out for themselves.

I added all that stuff back. It’s in the regular options. I have class colors, health text, mana bars etc. All the way it used to be.

I’m talking about different raid profiles though… Like if I’m in a raid of 10 to have it one way and then if I’m in a raid of 40 have it another way and not need to manually adjust it every time… Not party versus raid!

That stuff is there

No raid profiles though

It would be a huge pain, but you could create separate layouts for each one and swap them for different raid sizes. Definitely a step backwards.

as if it werent annoying enough to have to manually set your raid frames once, every time you are in a different composition… whats worse is your comp may change multiple times in a given raid, as a raid scales, unless your in mythic, you might go from 10man to 30, or anything in between 3 times over during a raid. given that i STILL already have to reload every time a person joins/leaves group because everything still breaks, this additional UI issue is complete nonsense. So… what brilliant dev decided it would be a good idea to leave out profiles!?!

also, they didnt “completely” remove it, but the ability to organize groups IN the raid frame container now also SUCKS. you cant stack the groups in a particular way without taking up a huge chunk of screen OR putting the frames somewhere undesirable. wth… really?!

someone already said it, but in all their effort to finally integrate UI features, blizz screwed the pooch in doing so, and then let it fly out the door before it was ready anyway.

Hard agree. We’re 2 months later and 40 man content like wboss/epic bg is just unplayable to me still. Absolutely dreadful having to reset frames between epic bg and regular bg otherwise i can’t see my screen, pets are shown awkwardly on the side instead of below

Nobody asked for this change to raid frames

Huge fail. Really annoyed i’ll have to find an addon to correct it

Try ShadowedUnitFrames. They have a pretty good setup and it’s low memory usage.

I couldn’t tell you where I found it, but I know I still have raid frames in 2s and 3s. It was in options somewhere, at the very bottom of a page

You totally can adjust this. Click on each frame individually, adjust the size and save

I do, i swap between 10man and 40man and save each and it doesn’t do anything when i load into bgs and arenas

Target of target is also bugged on alts and stacked on top of enemy frame no matter where i move it

I’m having that same issue with arena frames. Someone said that arena frames can’t be beyond 100 in scale and it worked. Perhaps 10 and 40 groups can’t be beyond a certain scale? I’m about to log on. I’ll let you know what I have

Ty! I appreciate it. I probably will have to delete wtf folder and start fresh since all my alts have what looks like corrupted profiles with the target of target, so its possible thats bugging my UI edit too
