Hello friends. I am seeking help regarding blizzard Raid Frames.
I have used blizzard raid frames for years now. I love them in all their simplicity. However, I have a problem.
Prior to the edit mode being introduced into TBC anniversary, I could have multiple profiles for my blizzard raid frames. This meant that I could have a profile for 5 man, 10 man, 25 man, 40 man, and so on.
Now that edit mode is here, it seems I am limited to just three options. 10 man, 25 man, and 40 man. No sweat, I can work with that. Or so I thought.
This is where the real problem comes to light.
I can place my ten man profile in an area that works well for 10 man. The editing I do include position and size. I like bigger raid frames when I have less of them.
However, when I switch to the 25 man profile, I need to adjust the size and position of my raid frames. Standard editing to fit the playstyle environment i’m in.
When I go about adjusting the frames, this also impacts my 10 man raid frame position, AND size.
How do I make it so that my 10 man profile keeps it’s position and size separate from my 25 mans position and size. Any help would be appreciated!
Edit:
The only work around for this it seems, to the best of my current knowledge is to make a whole new profile for each raid frame profile. Which to me seems counter intuitive since i have to go into edit mode every time i find myself in a changing environment.
So if i do 5 or 10 man content, my main profile will work.
If i raid in 25 man content, i will have to go to edit mode, change my ui profile, and then change it back later since i typically only raid once a week.
I will also have to do this every time i enter a BG.
Interesting how the edit mode is a huge downgrade in freedom for blizzard raid frames.
