So now that season 2 has started, is there any way to finish the raid finder plate set from the season 1 raid? I just needed the boots and they could apparently only be made in the catalyst. Well the pair that does drop in raid and could be transformed into them finally dropped for me but…. The catalyst only does season 2 now. What is the deal here?
knowing blizzard your set will be incomplete for years b4 they finally do something. the last week before patch i made sure to do that on as many pairs of boots on every class i could because i really dont trust blizzard. would be nice if the raid dropped a full set and we didnt have to convert gear to finish a set they made
Yeah, the raids are still there and you can que for them. On my tank I que’d today and even got a satchel. People are still doing them on alts because no one can be arsed, rightfully so, to do the s2 campaign multiple times for alt gear.
Edit: sorry I didnt finish reading your post. To utilize catalyst you’d have to wait until the last few or couple months of s2, whenever the catalyst becomes available again. So get the gear you need and bank it till then.
June 13th when the Catalyst re-open, you’ll be able to create season 1 tier and there won’t be a charge cost.

They said they’re planning on putting a catalyst for Season 1 transmogs in the game at some point in the near future.
