Raid difficulty levels and lock outs

Going to be running some old raids for transmog, mounts, etc. and was wondering is each difficulty of a raid on a seperate lock out timer or do they share an internal lock out?

Depends on the raid.

Classic and TBC is one lockout. There’s no such thing as 10 or 25 or Normal or Heroic.

Wrath: up to Ulduar (meaning Naxx, Malygos, Sartharion, Archavon) you choose 10 or 25 for different transmog sets but they do share lockout. So if you do 10, you can’t do 25 same week.

Ulduar doesn’t have Heroic, it has “hard modes” (go to wowhead for info). Hardmodes enable extra chests for some specific transmog pieces.

Rest of Wrath and onward - choose 10 or 25 and Normal or Heroic. All share lockouts.

LFR doesn’t share any lockouts, meaning you can do the raid on N/H/M/10/25 AND LFR, starting with Cata-DS.

Thanks that helps a lot both for explaining it and giving the link!

Everything from Siege of Orgrimmar onwards have separate lockouts for each mode, meaning you can run them 4x a week per character (LFR, Normal, Heroic, Mythic).
