Raid community

If memory serves, I’ve not actively raided since ICC. It’s never really been a priority for me. But the times I did raid, I got in to “learning” groups, for lack of a better term, I found online. The problem I’m having now is in trying to find their website. I’m pretty sure they were called “Open Raid”, but that site doesn’t correspond with what I remember. So,if anyone here can help jog my memory as to the correct website, or has anything to contribute to this particular quest, I will be eternally grateful

Not sure about that site, and most groups like that are on Discord these days.

You can search the LFG tool for guild/progression groups and try your luck. Though it’s going to be hard at this point in the tier when most people will expect you to have cleared the raids already. It’ll be easier if you heal.

I saw a Normal or Heroic Vault of the Incarnates group in the Premade Group Finder that was advertising itself as Open Raid and the description said something about a friendly group for learning mechanics, so it probably is still around. Plenty of other learning/community groups you can find as well.

I was just made aware of a group. They are mostly discord, but have a website. Look up “Warcraft made easy”. I was told to search WME, but that brought up an unaffiliated and looked like a less than honest way to play. That was called ‘Winning made easy’, but thats not the one you want.

Thanks all for the replies. Looks like Jatarri hit the nail on the head, though. This looks exactly like what I was thinking about. Gracias

There was a player, years ago, who would use the forums and start “learning raids”. He’d ask for a few experienced players to help out and his raids were wildly successful. I helped out in a few and they were also a ton of fun.

I can’t name names per forum policy, but I miss that guy.
