They are bad. Stop adding more and delete the ones in game. Chaos brand, mystic touch? Delete them. Fort, AI, battle shout, devo aura, DELETE! Casting AI is not fun. Having AI is not fun. Missing AI is definitely not fun. Just give everyone 10 more int and stam baseline or whatever. These buffs are useless. Let classes be brought to raids because they’re fun not because "we have to have 1 dh and 1 monk and 1 priest and 1 mage and 1 druid and 1 pally and 1 warrior, it’s stupid. Removing them with give mythic guilds more freedom to use interesting comps and give random 11 person friend and family guilds the ability to raid without missing power.

Remove AMZ, gateway, and healthstones so raids don’t feel the need to bring DKs or warlocks.

Another way to say this…is that mythic raid teams will only bring the classes at the top of the DPS meter because there is no benefit of having class diversity.

as a trade off? sure. but bloodlust, amz, barrier, gateway, stones, spirit link, roar, etc are active abilities have to plan when to use and execute. Actually interesting and engaging rather than a passive buff
But, they are effectively raid buffs. As long as warlocks have healthstones and gateways there will always be at least 1 warlock in any raid. SLT is also a very strong progression tool, so that’s gotsta go so shaman arent required. Barrier for disc priest, gone.

Becoming stronger due to combining different classes is a fun common co-op RPG mechanic.
They removed them all in Legion using your exact reasoning and it was panned, they came back in BFA.

I would like teleport to the current raid. Like a hearthstone that updates to the current raid every patch, you just click it and you teleport right outside the raid instance. Warlocks bring healthstones which is already very cool. Good enough

They still have gateways, big mobility for everyone. I hadn’t even mentioned summoning closets, but those gotta go, too!

Agreed. We should get a UI button that teleports us to the boss, fully buffed, fed and flasked, for a nominal fee.

The only thing I don’t like about raid buffs is having to constantly remind bad players to rebuff the raids after wipes.

No, it just gives them a reason to freely stack whatever they want. Why would they bring DH if their single target or utility is useless?
Buffs are fun and only “negatively” affect the 1%.
You can’t have it both ways. Those classes justify their position with all that utility. Bring the player, not the class like you say. Remove all of that.

You cannot make an excuse to remove all raid buffs and they say something like AMZ staying is fine because it will just end up like Nathria where every single melee spot in a raid group is now taken by a DK.

Removing buffs wont change how mythic guilds raid. They will find any lil abuse to gain the most advantage. Raid buffs probably bring more classes to raids and removing them would actually cause high end guilds to not bring a spec due to a specific buff.
And if a casual guild is requiring a DH or Paladin to complete a raid they are playing the game wrong.
No. Instead, Blizzard should re-add every single raid buff and debuff they removed. Including spec-specific buffs like Arcane/Ret’s +3% damage buff. Cataclysm’s Dark Intent from Warlocks too.
The game was at its healthiest when we had raid buffs. Bring them all back.
Idk. Externals and Raid buffs/cooldowns need to be looked at. They’re causing too many issues as they are now.
