Raid boss versus boss

Has anyone else been curious as to what it might look like if it was raid boss vs boss? I’ve also been curious as to who would be the most op.

I wanna see a fight between a few comps…like the lich king vs kel thuzad, and cthun vs yogg saron, and illidan vs argus (from legion)

Are talkin like… in game? Or like lore wise who would be the strongest?

C’thun & Yogg would be most dominant simply by means of their god status.

Bosses like the LK are individually kinda wimpy, and only buffed up by the devs to make them an interesting encounter.

Their power is not just that they were great heros, but that because of that status they have large followings of minions. That influence of authority is where their true power actually is.

Bosses like Yog and C’Thun have all the same power as the hero type and a lot more. Individually their power is incomprehensible, but for the sake of the game we defeat them.

Bosses like Rag or deathwing would also in reality rate as unbeatable by any one individual hero.

In game, and scaled at equal level

Oh, then… idk, probably c’thun or yogg, they have mechanics where you need to go inside them to beat them. It was just single boss vs single boss I don’t think anyone could top those two.

Dragon free for all deathmatch in Stormwind. That would be fun to watch.

some raid bosses, like the lich king, were unbeatable until several debuffs prior to their raids, transpired. for example, remember halls of reflection where arthas stalks you and jaina/sylvannas all the way to the zeppelin? you could be level 4000 and he could kill you if you got near enough to be hit by his aura and it is literally impossible to kill him in that encounter.

Didn’t Razuvious do ridiculous damage?

Although there is this game called Heroes of the Storm…

Arugal would win cuz he’d just MC the other boss, combat would end and the encounter would conclude.

I want to see another Illidan vs. Arthas fight.

In game, any boss that requires some additional thought from the player to defeat other than brute force would win. So bosses like cthun or yogg with their stomach/brain rooms.

Lorewise, I would put my money on Deathwing as the winner vs any other boss in the game. Why? This game does a poor job at depicting size advantage. In real life a human would never be able to go toe to toe with an orc or a tauren due to the size and strength differences.

Deathwing is massive. He could quite literally step on cthuns squishy eye and destroy him before he could even retaliate. I’d even wager deathwing could take on Argus himself…a newly born titan soul. It would be a fun fight to watch for sure.

I wonder if they will ever add Deathwing as a playable hero lol.

Who’s the boy king of stormwind?

Him. He’s immune to everything.

If you’re talking lore, and “in game” definitely one of the old gods cause they can’t really be killed. If the titans couldn’t do it, wtf would 40/25 humans, trolls, and orcs be able to?

The most powerful raid boss would be Azshara. If you haven’t been keeping up with lore, prior to the well of eternity, Queen Azshara was said to be extremely powerful.

She was so powerful that she actively hid her power. She was so powerful, just her presence would make people obey her. That is what made her such a force. People’s undying loyalty to this woman due to what people think was a sort of mind control.

When the legion came the first time. The legion commanders, forgot which one, commented that Azshara was as powerful as Kil’jaden and perhaps Sargeras was the only one more powerful than her.

After everything happened, Azshara was left to drown with the remaining highborne and she was saved by Nzoth and given even more power. Queen Azshara I believe is the strongest raid boss out of all the ones we’ve faced so far. (She is believed to be the end boss or one of the end bosses of BfA).

Until someone new comes along. I mean, if Elune ever becomes a raid boss. Well GG.

In game? Well that’s a weird one… the most op boss in the game mechanics wise if it was computer vs. computer would probably be chess event. Think about it, the pieces are completely untouchable unless you actually manually jump into the pieces to fight the actual fight, and once mediv wins the event everything automatically dies. So even if there was a boss with BfA level stats fighting chess event it would do 0 damage until the event automatically kills the boss.

Chess event OP

Edit: now that I think about it, I don’t think chess event killed you but it was just a reset… so maybe chess event wouldn’t technically kill the boss but it would be unkillable and it would ‘win’ the event. Victory by technicality?

Van Cleef. You can kill the man, but you can’t kill the idea. One day all of peasants of the human kingdoms will rise up against the nobility and demand more. To not be stepped on, a livable wage, and personal liberty. None may challenge the Brotherhood!

Oh you mean in a strict boss v boss fight with in game mechanics…C’Thun, Yogg or Deathwing for sure.

Twin Emperors had a permanent ticking heal for about 25k per second as long as they were within 20 yards of each other. C’thun could technically be killed without going into his stomach, he only took 99% reduced damage before you went inside him. The Twin Emperors could outlast him.
