Show me your data.

Per warcraft logs:
10,754 guilds are 10/10
3,014 guilds are 9/10
4,340 guilds are 8/10

Explain how that’s 35%?

That’s closer to 35% of guilds having NOT cleared.

To be fair in NA it’s currently 36% clearing 10/10, however if you look there are more guilds at 10/10 then there are at 8/10.

I agree in some cases it’s the guild.
We are an 8/10 guild raiding 6 hours a week.

We finally swapped to strategy this week of just hammering SSC to finally get pulls on Vash.
We wiped for 3 hours this week with 24 people missing a healer.
But we were still making progress pull to pull, feel like we can get her pre nerf, and will focus SSC only again next week with a full 25.

If we don’t get her before the nerf it’s just a case of we aren’t good enough and we will still keep going.

I’ve seen a lot of people try weird strats but make sure you have all your casters stack in the inside circle to maximize the dps on the strider, and assign hunters and a ranged if you don’t have 4 hunters to quadrants to focus on elementals so you don’t fall too far behind on dps.

We were trying to spread people out and it was a disaster

Are you daft? These changes were always going to take place. They were planned before tbc classic launch. They were never going to nerf trash as that never happened in vanilla tbc. “Uh duuuuuur pls remove all trash packs durr”. They were never going to nerf the health as they are already laughable. They were also never going to just disregard nerfing the content. It’s like none of you ever paid attention pre launch.

Thanks.
We have a Hunter in each quadrant and a core passing team set for each zone.
We just need more pulls and less dumb mistakes.

How many healers are you using?

No shot it two weeks. That puts it around dec 28th. No shot it’s then. I’d expect test server released with these nerfs to live and then Jan 12th as launch at the earliest.

We 5 heal most of the time but 4 healed this past week with no issues. Healing is zzzzzz on Vash. We also tried teams like you but we ended up just doing the closest person then the dunker is always the same.

I can’t stress this enough though. In P3, SPREAD OUT. SPREAD OUT. Make sure you get thornlings and drop them on the putter ring going into P3. They trivialize the poison. Your offtank does nothing but pick up mind controls. I do it as a paladin and it’s super easy and keeps the fight under control.

We use 5, and I pick up every core (rip my parses) and pass it to a healer standing near a pillar.

The one important part is melee using FAPs or LAPs because an unlucky entangle+poison+shock can just utterly rip your melee apart. Just repeat until it’s stuck in your raiders heads “Do not die in phase 1, or phase 2”. With everyone alive, and saving all brezes for p3 can make for a kill.

This was the week of our kill and you can see it got progressively better and better

No kidding.

I was hoping to shift the conversation away from the morality of the decision, since nobody but you cares about your personal morality regarding the nerfing of content that already isn’t challenging for most players… and since the decision is already made.

This is TBC, you don’t get to kill all the bosses if you’re not good enough. One difficulty setting, baby!

You could do Hyjal week 2 after the nerfs go in and you go back and kill the now-easy T5 bosses!

That sounds authentic to TBC, to me.

Vashj MC change actually never happened in TBC though.

They nerfed trash many times over the course of TBC. The list of nerfs just in 2.1 is extensive for both TK and SSC trash. Maybe you should’ve checked that before being a tool.

This isn’t the case.

I mean… it wasn’t the case in original TBC as things got nerfed, but it’s obviously not the case now either. Nerfs are coming for those who haven’t cleared yet.

If the nerfs were to be accurate then p3 would have no mind controls.

Most people weren’t clearing these raids in TBC. Certainly not before other, better players were doing Hyjal and BT.

It is in the spirit of TBC to have bosses that many players cannot defeat.
