Raging Blow not linked with Warbringer would have made Warrior on par with every other class in Phase 1 PVP/BGs/Open World.
No one seems to understand Raging blow is the only reason why warrior is even decent in raids. Why? It’s the only rage generator for warriors that does % weapon damage in phase 1. But it’s linked in the same rune slot to the only thing that makes Warriors not a complete handicap wheelchair in PVP for utility - Warbringer. We can charge in combat but don’t have any rage to fight anyone in PVP… yay. That’s why literally every class and spec can face tank us right now in PvP and outheal us. Lol…
‘You didn’t mention Quick Strike’. The reason is because Quick Strike is a special attack that does NOT generate rage only spends. In PVP it is garbage. Why? It’s a glorified hamstring which does damage to potentially trigger overpower. But for extra rage it doesn’t provide any utility like hamstring 40% slow which is essential in PVP/BGs/Open World. In raids, it’s good because it procs with windfury too, but generating rage comes from RAGING BLOW which can’t be used in PvP because you are just dead without Warbringer.
So many complaints from range caster dps not on par with melee dps (in lvl 25 raids) and how they need all these buffs and have had tons of blue posts with adjustments yet crush warriors at every turn outside of raids .(Just added in new tailoring BIS items for cloth wearers lol)
Range casters should never do as much damage as melee dps when looking at raw damage charts for a stand-still fight. Why? Range casters have the best ability in the game - casting damage from 30+ yards away with spam able utility like polymorph and fear.
Hybrids never did as much damage as pure raw dps classes like warrior and rogue. Why? They had range utility to cast shocks and heal. Same for druids.
Paladins never did as much dps. They had utility to stun, heal, BUBBLE. Lol
Priests and Warlocks… yikes they crush anything right now but aren’t topping PvE raid meters guess they need more spell power and endless mana with an endless set of utility face tanking rogues and warriors IN PVP lol
