The Defias blood wizards cast that red bubble that gives whoever stands in it 50% bonus damage. Stop preventing it and get through the dungeon faster. Don’t kill those mobs on Vanessa either, until they put up a ragezone. Especially if you have ranged dps, but a decent tank can tank enemies just outside the ragezone too.
You all have defensive cooldowns, expect to use them.
And people. Stand in the ragezone!
Another pro-tip, almost let the Holy Fire cast. Don’t interrupt it immediately. The other thing those mobs do makes the dungeon last longer. ‘renegade strength’ instantly triples a mob’s HP while it’s being cast. Either triples or quadruples. The more time Defias Envokers are doing nothing, aka casting a doomed Holy Fire, the better.
As a tank I know this struggle all too well. After a lot of careful positioning and re-positioning I’ll find myself as the only person actually utilizing it. It’s like those cannons, they do insane damage and the stun is incredibly overpowered but it’s rare to have anyone actually jump into them so I’ve gotta keep to small pulls and explain 20 year old mechanics to people that don’t care to begin with. If it’s not actively hindering them you shouldn’t expect another player to do anything different to their normal face roll. It’s like driving, people SHOULD know what they’re doing and what the signs mean but the fact is there are a lot of fake it till you make it people out there.
you sound like you want to educate people. Are you new to the game by chance? Cuz you should know this isnt a skill issue. Most people simply dont care so explaining stuff to them is worthless
Yes, and people often waste stuns on the spell cast. I am in fact trying to get people to play better. Deadmines doesn’t have to be the worst by such a huge margin.
My last DM group I was the only one who made it past the lightning stuff in one try. A couple others did after being res’d by someone before the gauntlet, and then the res’er (tankadin) died. The other dps stood wherever instead of the safe spot and pulled the mini-foe reaper, which we couldn’t kill. Lucky me, got invis off, so I could wait on that stack of cannonballs. Heals said “sorry g2g” and the next healer spawned where I stood, so we finally got a good mass res out. Right as one dude zones in…
Not everyone doesn’t care. Some are willing to learn. And a few did that run, in spite of themselves.
If you can do over 20k dps(perfectly doable in blue gear) waiting for ragezones is a dps loss rather than just killing the mobs outright and dpsing the boss. You are actively making the fight take longer by trying to bait a ragezone.
killing that mob instead of just dps’ing the boss and letting the tank pick op the trash to get auto cleaved down is a dps loss. they do inconsequential damage, and despawn during transitions - dps should never be focusing them or even using aoe spells, its just meter-padding, and making fight take longer. on the off chance that you got into dungeon with unequipped boe’s and trash pvp gear and actually struggle with this fight otherwise, recognize that thats the problem.
deadmines can be a slog with a bad group, but actually very fast, even protocol inferno, with a smart group. can pull everthing up to first boss back to cannon and one of your dps can do like 100k+ and burn it all down really fast. tank pulls 2 mobs + the pack down hall to the right, usually hunter or rogue can tag last two big guys in boss room. all back to cannon, ezpz. always leave one blood wizard alive, carry it with you to next pack. can cc along the way if needed. when you get to the boat, pull both packs of two on bottom level back to ramp and double cannons, dps can nuke very hard using both cannons. the skip up the circular thing is sketchy and pets can f it up so i dont bother. single mob can be pulled up to top with the three other mobs and again you have 3 cannons so all dps can nuke them quickly. actually eat all the food fighting murloc, get big buffs and keeps ground clear. dont jump down from up top start of dream sequence, miniboss isnt spawned yet and 80% of the time someone dies anyways.
The boss parries until the first wave dies. You should absolutely hit the adds as you’ll be doing nothing to the boss. You just shouldnt wait for ragezones.
her deterrence has a timer on it, it stops when it expires, not when adds die. that being said, yes, you should hit adds when her deterrence is up of course. “focusing” adds is a lot different than attacking the only mob that isn’t immune. regardless, leaving the blood wizard up for a free ragezone is a dps gain on the only target that matters.
What is this a guide for a super ultra Hardcore mythic+30 difficulty that require such specific strat to have even a slight hope of surviving the fight or someone who just want to tell people how they should play to beat super easy content?
What’s next people have to jump on the wheel to skip two mobs or they get kick?
As for use the ragezone sure its more DPS and its super easy to use 100% I’ll get in if I see one spawn who wouldn’t?
