Looking at these talents, they appear to have no control for the DH, however I’m thinking that by using /cancelaura we can forcibly leave Demonic. (assuming that the talents will work with Demonic)
Consider:
VR (reset Initiative)
Immolation Aura
Eye Beam (enter Demonic)
Death Sweep
Chaos Strike (Inner Demon procs)
/cancelaura demonic (next BD +50% damage)
Meta
Death Sweep (benefits from +50%?)
Chaos Strike (Inner Demon)
/cancelaura (next BD +50% damage)
Eye Beam (Demonic)
Death Sweep (benefits from +50%?)
Chaos Strike (Inner Demon)
IA expires or /cancel aura for Ragefire
Maybe Glaive Tempest in there too.
Significant AoE burst, but is that good design?
If possible.

Yeah this was something I was giving some thought, we’d want to use cancelaura macros pretty extensively if we wanted to make optimal use of Ragefire. I think specifically of PvP or burst windows, packs of mobs dying, that sort of thing. It’s an interesting talent but I can see it getting reworked somehow.
When people say DH has no skill cap I will show them this post. Ty for that. I don’t think blizzard sees how many of the talents clunk together, but the fact you came up with that work around (though it shouldn’t be necessary) takes brain power

I don’t think I’m nuts for thinking this either, Meta is just such a weak cooldown that it may be more DPS to cancel with 20+ seconds remaining just to get the enter/leave bonuses in such a manner.
