I received a “Rage of Ages” neck on the hero track from the cache for completion of the Firelands Timewalking Raid, and I was pleased because it had the best stats for my class.
Unfortunately it wouldn’t let me add gems sockets to bring it in line with the other necks in Dragonflight.
I believe this is a bug and would like it resolved.

This item can only be sockets with gems/items found from around the Dragonflight expansion.
I just got this as well and am really disappointed i cant put sockets on it, it would be a huge upgrade if i could. tried all 3 levels of the tiered setting.

The problem to me isn’t that they are short sighted and made exempt time walking gear. ITS THAT THEY MADE JUNK TRASH the reward for some people. LOL. The necklaces are junk trash 100% if they cannot get sockets. So why make them a reward at all. Why would you do someone dirty like that.
yeah, this was on my druid. all i really wanted was rag trinket (lol bis timewalking gear) but got this instead lol
