this event is horrible and I’d like to add to the general disdain felt by others and reiterate that theres no reason for this to take a minimum of 4.5 hours daily to complete on one toon these rewards should be far easier and require far less time invested, especially when you might not be able to catch the next portal and the event ends in 5 minutes leaving you to wait another 3 hours to get back to the portal you missed. Blizzard please for the love of god readjust this and make it less of a complete and utter pain this isn’t even enjoyable it feels like a trap to keep me logged in for FOUR AND A HALF hours a day

It’s insane, and coming to the forums it’s hard to complain because people argue with us HARD, but this event left such a bad taste in my mouth I just need to express it lol.
I was really excited to start it, got the quest, and started clicking the portals. I killed some enemies, kind of confused, getting 1 currency per kill. I went back to Dalaran and noticed “68 minutes remaining!” So I EXCITEDLY clicked that portal. There’s nothing happening though, and I kill a few more enemies, confused.
After finally just googling it, I realized you actually have to wait an hour and a half for each event, it’s like 5,000 guaranteed currency per week, you can’t immediately log in to an alt and get some extra rewards because when the boss is killed, it’s an hour and a half wait. Or, 30 minutes a few weeks from now.
I just really wanted that purple Argus set. It’s a strange way to design content at all, because I don’t have 4 hours to wait right now, and I don’t want to have to plan my login times so I’m not leaving a dungeon to rush to Dalaran at the right time.

Anyone who believes that a 90 minute “break” between events is good… has to be trolling.

I GENUINELY have never complained on the wow forums before let alone ever really posted but I had to come here as well to voice my distaste for this horrible mess of an event, at this rate you’d have to spend a minimum of ALMOST TWENTY HOURS to get JUST THE MOUNT if you do the weekly quest on multiple toons!!!

Yeah I was super hype’d for the event and just kinda meh. I’ll do it cause I want the mount and pets but I won’t be happy about it. lol
It was fun for like the first one I did (that didn’t glitch out…) and then I was just over it
I agree with everything the OP said but also want to add that, at least for me so far, half of the events have either bugged out or not given me tag credit because of the insane lag, so even if you do have all that time to devote to this event you still might get screwed over because of glitches. Very very awful event.
