It might just be me but I don’t get radiant echoes. They seem too short to be worthwhile and I’m not sure what the goal is when I’m doing. Can someone clue me in? I haven’t done them but twice since the launch and I feel like I’m completely out of touch.

i think the goal is so you can get some key frags so you can do more bountiful delves in the week. you just kill as many mobs as you can. elites give more score. higher the score the more key shards to make coffer keys with

I mostly did them for valor stones.

This OP.
Radiant Echoes are a currency that you spend to obtain more coffer key shards, so that you can get more coffer keys so that you can run them Delves!
Now there are a few achieves associated too so if interested, keep that in mind. Also got a cool lil memory chord toy of myself/toon.

I did maybe one or two.
Yeah… they just seem weird.
I think they thought more people would do delves for longer periods of time and the keys would be so highly sought after people would rush to do them.
As it stands now they are weird currently controlled aoe fests with little reward.

I did 2 early on, for me, not worth the time. I didn’t miss out on anything.

I’ve only done a couple, seemed kind of pointless so haven’t gone back. I was doing all the things during the week except bountiful delves so I was getting keys left and right and not using them, and have like 30 now for when I get a wild hair and want to do them, so I don’t really need any more keys at this point. 
Well… what’s funny is I do other activities and end up with so many keys from those that doing the echo thing (for fragments of keys!?) didn’t even cross my mind.
I wouldn’t care to do them except I realized today that when they do a retrospective Khaz Algar achievement (like the DF one that gave Taivan) I’m going to have to 100% these.
So I’m about to start doing them for the first time, really.

Yeah I didn’t understand the function of them either. The currency to enter is super slow to obtain. Then to make it worthwhile you can only enter the highest tier. But no one is running them anymore because it’s boring….
I just….don’t get it. /shrug
Title is sorta cool : Echochaser.
But the time investment for it now feels bad, as I didn’t do then first couple weeks of expansion.
I know they are by far the fastest way to get valor stones, if you still need those.

I did them a bit early on in the xpac but now they just feel pointless. I’m capped on valorstones and get more keys than I need so I don’t really have any reason to putz with them. Apparently there’s an achievement for them but truth be told I’ve never chased those, if I wind up getting one through playing what I enjoy I’m just like “Oh cool”.
They seem pretty pointless to me, but I’m hoarding the the item for them to just work on it all one week for the associated achievements.
I think there’s a title or two from the achievements involving that event.
i wait until i have 5 echoes. saves a lot of time.
i do them for stones. dont they also give resonance crytals? those are useful to intially gear up alts when they hit 80. you can get 4 584 pieces immediately from renown vendors. but maybe you get enough of the crystals from doing other content.
overall, the radiant echoes feel like a lot of other currencies in the game nowadays - they get useless to a toon very quickly.
