Made a Kul Tiran character, and recieved the quest to go to Dalaran. Took boat from boringalus to Stormwind. Now quest says take portal from Stormwind to Dal. But portal in mage tower doesn’t work! Also toy hearthstone won’t work. Bugged, or missing something?

There is a dalaran portal next to the auction house in Stormwind. If your dalaran hearthstone does not work you have to take the legion quest from the board next to auction house, go to the docks, skip the questline ( or not ) then it will send you to dalaran and the stone will work again.

After character creation,
- Go upstairs, hang a left when you get outside, go straight into the Santum of Sages.
- Accept the Radiant Echoes quest.
- Take portal to Stormwind and DO NOT TALK TO CHROMIE
- Go to the Trade District, and take the portal behind the Hero’s Command Board (by the auction house)
- Talk to Khadgar to start the Radiant Echoe’s event.
Some caveats:
DO NOT do the Radiant Echoes event if you are in Chromie Time. You’ll be isolated from the majority of players, and the events are not scaled for lowbies.
Your Dalaran Hearthstone isn’t going to work. If you want the Dalaran Hearthstone to work, then temporarily go into Chromie Time, pick Legion timeline. Also make sure to do the “I’ve seen this before” option when you get to the quest giver. As soon as you arrive in the Chromie Time Dalaran, the first quest giver will give you access to the Dalaran Hearthstone. After that, go back to stormwind and get back out of Chromie Time.

Thank you so much! I’ve been running in circles for two days trying to figure out how to get there. I did not know there was a portal outside of the auction house.
