According to wowhead post, the dalaran defenders gear is now eligible for the catalyst. As of this moment, that is not true. Champion track plate dalaran defender’s legguards CAN NOT be converted at catalyst.

I have had the same issue but someone I know said it worked for them so I am wondering if it has to be gear you got after the hot fix went into effect

That is a possibility Holy but I have no way to test it at the moment. I only had one alt that really needed the gear and also was lucky enough to get a useful champions track reward for the week. Maybe others will have helpful feedback…

I just bought a piece from a vendor, did not equip it and it is showing I can use it on the catalyst. So that is a bummer, definitely looks like it has to be new and obtained after the hot fix

Ok thanks for the information. Sort of a good news/bad news scenario since it seems unlikely for me to get a champion track defender’s piece again for the right slot. Still, I am glad it is an option at least.
