Logged in to do the Radiant echoes event, used the teleportation scroll provided, and immediately fell through the map, and cannot log into my character without instantly being booted back to the log in screen, how can this be resolved?

I am dealing with the same problem at the moment. I saw someone recommend logging into another character for a bit and then logging back to see if the bug fixed itself (?)
Edit: Just used: https://us.battle.net/support/en/help/product/wow/197/834/solution and the service worked like a charm!

just happened to me too! Im so mad
I’m in the same situation with one of my toons, clicked the scrool, looks like my toon dropped into Silithus, then I disconnect. Other toons work fine. I ran the scan and repair, no help.

i should mention this happened to my mage alt… but still. this is annoying
The same thing happened to me too. I logged onto an alt, waited til it said my main has gone offline, then logged off my alt & back onto my main & nope, didn’t fix it. 
Experiencing the same thing. Looks like the scroll took me under the zone floor, it disconnects me as I start to fall.
I’m curious. If any of you folks with bugged characters can remember, were they phased into the old version of Silithus or the current one? I’m currently thinking that it’s a bug with phasing between the two versions that might be causing this.
I wanted to test this theory myself, but Zidormi doesn’t even work properly to switch phases at the moment. The zone map changes and so do the NPCs (but they’re all glitchy, spawning in midair instead of on the ground), but the actual zone remains the current one with the sword present. Seeing this means I can’t test it for myself, but it oddly does reinforce my belief that it’s a phasing thing.

I can’t test either cause it’s not even live on the EU servers, but I’m pretty sure it’s exactly what you describe. The teleport ports you to a specific point on the new Silithus map, but instead of the new map the old map loads in and on the old map this point is underneath the map.
Funny enough, I did end up being able to get my character stuck under the world after all. While I couldn’t get the zone to switch over properly while in-game, I did still try using the scroll while I had Zidormi’s buff telling me I was in the old version of the zone. It worked as normal and took me to the proper location, but I just logged out for the day while I was in that area.
Try logging in today, and the zone is properly switched over so I’m now under the ground and stuck in the disconnect loop. 
It reminded me as well that the zone even has a different name depending on the phase you’re in. Character select will say that you’re either in ‘Silithus’ or ‘Silithus: The Wound’. Characters that’re in ‘Silithus’ are the ones that’ll be stuck!
This is still bugged. Mage blink has put me under the world so many times over the years I went ahead and used the move character tool before checking the forums.
