Radeon RX 5700 XT random lag spikes/freezing

I get high FPS on Ultra setting with the RX 5700 XT video card. The game runs fine except for the random lag spikes / freezes up for 4-5 seconds. Didn’t have this issue with my old video card. I’ve tried the followings but nothing work

-update to the newest AMD driver 19.12.3
-did a clean uninstall and install older driver 19.12.1 cuz 19.12.2 was full of issues
-turned off windows game mode / game bar
-disable fullscreen optimizations
-turned on/off vsync, enchanced sync, anti-lag settings
-manually capping my FPS at 60 to match the monitor refresh rate
-deleted all addons
-deleted the Cache, Interface, and WTF folders and scan/repair the game
-uninstall/reinstall the game
-tested the game at Low to Ultra setting - same random spiked lag/freezing for 4-5 sec

Here’s the DxDiag

If you have a 60hz monitor. You’re basically limiting yourself. Get a 144Hz monitor with Freesync. Its worth way more than the difference you paid for a 5700 to XT differential. You’re throwing away FPS and bottlenecking the card. I run a 5700 on a Alienware 240Hz screen and its absolutely flawless.

try the new driver 20.1.2 and update windows
I had problems with 19.12.2 and 19.12.1 in others games.
vsync didn’t work

Updated to the newest driver 20.1.2, same issue. Thought the new driver or the new patch would have fix this, but no…

In addition to the lag spikes/freezing for 4-5 sec, I also get the green screen error. The game and computer would freezes up and there’s nothing I can do but manually power down. No error message, just a green screen. This happened 3 times already. One during BG PVP combat. The other two times I was just standing around in game.

Did you overlock your GPU? and check your power supply
and update windows
Green screen is probably GDDR overheating
