When can we expect the next tuning pass for racials? Looking at raiderio; there is a disproportionate percentage of Dwarves and Dark Iron Dwarves (to a lesser extent, Night Elves) for nearly every class / spec (outside of Druid, Demon Hunter, and Invoker). Normally, I would ask for other racials to be buffed but I think giving everyone a 2 minute personal dispell (that works on everything) would begin to trivialize boss mechanics (unless things start getting tuned around it as well).
Is Blizzard simply waiting for the race representation far out of whack before nerfing their racials so people will pay for race changes in the mean time?

Honestly I’d love if there was an NPC to talk to for switching out what cluster of racials you have, so they weren’t locked behind a specific race (and just changing what they’re called to match the lore & theme of the race).
Personally I’d love my tauren druid to be Highmountain Tauren, however I prefer the standard tauren racials so 
Guess Blizz aren’t getting that race-change money, lol

I dunno, I barely notice anyone go for what mechagnomes offer.

The problem I have with racials is the immersion and lore Andys over at Blizzard (and some players) insist on sticking with unique identity.
Then - the same company decides that ALL warriors can be “Mountain Kings” (traditionally a Dwarf hero role) in TWW…as if that made any sense at all according to lore.

I’m not sure about that - the consensus I’ve heard is that mechagnomes have fantastically powerful racials - it’s just most people can’t get past what they look like outside of the heritage armor.
Giving Mechagnomes Titanforged features “The true removal of the curse of Flesh” - through some questline would be neat, potentially solving that problem. 
Exactly. Even the Kul’tirans have a helpful racial but are sitting above us at the bottom.

Imo they should revisit and buff underperforming racials and not nerf the dwarf dispel. But they definitely should also fix bugs as well.
Racials are like the last remaining RPG element in this game and you want them to interchangeable?

I’m not sure Racials are a big influence on the Races people choose, I think it’s more to do with aesthetics.
Are we talking pvp? Because for pve I think it’s dwarves. They’re all alliance though lol
People at the top and people who think they’re at the top definitely prioritise racials over looks.
For specific content it can make or break a fight.

I honestly think that all racials (regardless of faction) should go into a single menu, basically like the old glyph menu and you get to pick a handful of them, like a couple of combat boosting ones and a few non-combat ones. That way people can “spec” their characters for the things that they do the most.
They just need to give it a really long CD or make it prohibitively expensive to keep swapping the glyphs around, otherwise the 1% peeps will whine about being forced to keep changing them from boss to boss.

Given just how detailed the class / spec tree is now adays, I would actually like racials to be their own tree too. Give us more customisation.
If you want a stun like warstomp, any race should be able to talent into (call it different things warstomp, bludgeon, fear the reaper, elven enamour etc).
If you want a dps cooldown like bloodfury, beserking, etc thats a different talent too.
Professions again another chance to customise your character a bit too.
Races should be 100% purely cosmetic without gameplay discrepancies.
Seems like the main issue folks have at the moment is Stoneform. Removing the Magic dispel is probably all it needs. Maybe they could give only the Magic dispel to Nightborne… so they can have something nice for once.
Why am I not surprised that people want to remove one of the last little bits of distinction races have, replacing it with yet more homogenization. And why? Bc they don’t think it’s fair that another race has a “better” racial than them.
