So I have mentioned this before and I will again because I’m bored and that’s what forums are for.
I personally would like it if each paladin race had it’s lore racial title as an option to use/unlock. It could be unlocked through a small quest chain or simply being exalted with your own race on that character.
Such examples may include:
Tauren: Sunwalker “name”
Zandalari: Prelate "name’ (alternate idea instead could be something like: “name”, Rezan’s Chosen.)
Draenei: Vindicator “name”
Blood Elf: Blood Knight “name”
Human: “name”, Knight of the Silver Hand
Not sure what to do for Dwarves since a lot of the more pronounced titles are available to everyone (and/or part of the human order). Knowing Blizzard, I’m sure they could come up with something.
If NE pallys become a thing by next expansion, I’d imagine they’d have an order named something like “Elune’s Wrath” or “Fist of Elune”
Anyway, what do you guys think? Hate, like it, whatever you want. Just remember, be respectful to one another. <3
Interactive achievements that the player doesn’t readily know about is something that blizz should’ve been having fun with at the get go. Race, class, mount specific titles, achievements and rewards since day one should’ve been in force.
Imagine sitting in a dungeon with your pals and you start jumping waiting for an explanation, and out of nowhere you get an achievement that references you jumping a bunch and you get a goofy jumping title. It’s little things like this that go a long ways blizz.
I suppose so, even though they’re not really Freethinkers. Maybe they’d just still get Prelate as well, with the knowledge that Alliance also have the title.
Ah, “high prelate” may work. It would make it unique and still related to their class. I mean, of course, should Blizzard ever do this sort of thing.
Then again, any Tom, Rick, or Harry can get the Silver Hand tabard, which really should have been the Human version of the Blood Knight tabard. But that’s another topic, really.
Dwarves are also Knights of the Silver Hand. It’s the same order for both Humans and Dwarves. I forget precisely which quest it is, but a Dwarven paladin (possibly from their trainer in Ironforge) gets quest text to the effect “you’re a Knight of the Silver Hand, now.”
Can we just not have this discussion? We know the Draenei women would win hands down. Everybody loves them. Everyone’s attracted to them. We worship the air their gorgeous tails swish through.
. It goes right along with the idea of class to race identity spells. Bring them Blizz!
