Tough choice, really. Will of forsaken and extra healing with cannibalism sounds amazing (and i will play undead for aesthetics, for the dark lady and stuff), but orc stun resist and blood fury is also god tier. Taurens higher range and aoe stun? Amazing. Berserk and regen for trolls? Ho-ho~
If it’s for PvE DPS, Orc is the best choice.
If it’s for PvE Tanking, Tauren is the best choice.
If it’s for PvP, Orc or Undead, depending on if you find stuns or fears more annoying.
All the talk about Tauren being overpowered because of their larger hitbox and leeway is overblown nonsense.
Troll is ‘meh.’ Berserking is okay, but the attack speed is actually not that many extra attacks given its duration and your average weapon’s attack speed.

It is a tough choice. Undead has the worst racials I think, but the aesthetics of Undead in plate armor are awesome. Tauren, Troll, and Orc all have good arguments for being the best at something.
That said, it was widely agreed during vanilla that Troll regen was a joke. It is funny how the conventional wisdom about this seems to have changed.
I prefer tauren female for warrior and hunter. No flashy weapon animations, but something about the walk cycle and proportions make movement feel really smooth. Cuts quite the imposing figure in plate with the hooves and horns. Cool lore. Best starting zone.
So I recommend rolling your top choices and playing for 5 minutes to see/remember how they feel. I’m biased because racials aren’t a big deal to me though. Shadowmeld is the only one I catch myself wishing I had.
Troll > orc
No debuff from racial and more wind fury proc chances, and also useable tanking.
Well, I guess if an orc is tanking something and wants to give healers a challenge…

Orc is the PVP choice. Axe skill is nice but mainly just saves you gold vs buying edgemaster.
Undead/tauren are the tanks.
Troll has berserk, which works out great on raiding warriors. Attack speed=more rage/windfury.
This is pretty accurate. IMO orc warrior over undead for pvp. As horde you are already facing the best stun in the game (hammer of justice). But there is also so many stun procs from talents that make and break fights. Also I think there is simply less locks pvping on alliance cause of the undead stigma.
I guess a nice thing about undead warrior is warlocks probably won’t even TRY to fear you. Basically wasting time for a lot of disappointment.
Some even say orc for tanking just for the expertise threat but that feels like a stretch. And if we are getting 1.12 threat shouldn’t be a big issue. I’d go 5% tauren health for sure.
The debuff doesn’t matter, as you really shouldn’t be taking much damage, anyway. You’ll need double the healing, but you’re not a tank, so that isn’t a huge problem compared to the extra DPS you’re gaining.
Fewer, actually, depending on the weapon, because you’ll be lacking 5 Weapon Skill with Axes. Even with weapons that aren’t Axes, you’ll have have more chances to proc Windfury because you’re attacking more, but the Windfury procs will be weaker ones.
Do the math. With the attack speed of the weapons you’ll be using, the extra haste from Berserking is very few extra attacks. Haste also doesn’t make your abilities hit harder.
