So I just want to double check, I know if you boost an ally race you don’t get the heritage armor.
However, I was thinking about changing my level 24 night elf to an ally race. If I do and level will I still get the heritage armor or do you have to make a completely new character?
New character only, race changes will prevent you from getting it. (For allied races)
There was a hotfix to allow you to get the allied heritage armor after boost or race change.

A) I didn’t know they did this B) it’s amazing how many things they keep in their back pocket to continue printing money

I just checked the FAQ on Blizzard’s site to see if they finally changed the requirement verbiage and they have.

I had some higher level characters I raced changed and was able to get the heritage armor. You no longer need to level one from the group up, just have one at a high enough level, through whatever means.
