Trying to use a race change, and when I select the character and hit accept, it just sits there and nothing happens. It just shows a green check mark next to the name and says “You’ll customize your character in the next step.”. Doesn’t matter which character I choose, same thing.

Right before I closed my computer, I noticed a message on the launcher about these things being disabled.

There was a service alert on the wow game page, where server downtime is announced. This was last night before I went to sleep. I’m not at my pc to see right now though.

Same issue here but with the faction change. Tried last night and this morning after the maintenance, no luck.

Same for me! Race change just lingers, does not progress to changing the race part. I was thinking of sending a ticket, but I thought I’d wait it out. As others have also mentioned here even after maintenance today it still isn’t working.

Character services seem to not be working in general even though the notice is gone. The notice probably got replaced by the scheduled maintenance notice without the issue actually being resolved.

Sooooo they put token services on sale… and then disable them. OKAY. I’ve transferred a character literally once ever and the second time I do it, Blizz disables transfers… GET THIS BACK UP. EXPEDITIOUSLY.

Same issue with name changes. Select character, enter name, click next, nothing happens. Green checks but no continue button. Tried logging out and back in, logging off, restarting game, rebooting computer, and different characters even though I don’t want to change their names.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this is related to the shop UI change. Either way, Remix is a blast. Let them work it out while we grind out those outfits eh?

Maintenance didn’t fix it, and now there’s not even an ETA on when it might be fixed.
