It was more like fans asked for it A LOT when pandaren were announced. Similar to how fans said they should dance to Party Rock Anthem since that was popular at the time

Making the alliance something appreciable for both ally and horde is preferable to what we have today, where the highlight and brilliance are only in the horde.
It would be good to even help balance and diversify the population of the factions, varying more the participation of players between horde and alliance, when both have something that everyone appreciates.
Or we can keep everything as it is today and see the alliance being something more and more irrelevant in interest.
