Rabbit Race?

I didn’t want to Necro any threads, so
I figured I’d make a new one. I recently saw that Hearthstone has re-purposed Virmen into essentially Rabbitfolk akin to Leoprine. Who are about the size of a Vulpera.

Do I personally think we’d get a rabbit race with the amount of people who complain about “furry races”, despite them being part of warcraft since the RTS days…honestly probably not.

Would I like one, and main one however? Yes.

And honestly I feel like they’d be leagues better then the Earthen…but then again almost anything would be, so not a high bar, lmao.

Like gimme it now Blizz, lmao. I wouldn’t even care if they did a SWTOR and put the races on the cash shop (Don’t kill me forums. I know they’re not gonna do that. I’m just emphasizing my want for one).

The number of people running to make some variation of ‘Lolabunny’ and dress them in as little clothing as possible would break the servers.

Races like Viera don’t fit the WoW style. As they’re Anime Beastfolk.

Anthro/Furry like races however do fit. Like Tauren, Quilboar, Gnoll, Tuskar, Tortollan, Vulpera, Pandaren, Sethrak, etc.

Not to mention an Anthro Bunny Race does exist in the RTS on a placed called Bunny Island.

I’m just saying we’ll probably never see a race like Viera or Miqo inside of WoW, playable or otherwise.

Periodic reminder that most of the customization options people ask for in WoW are available in other games and that not every game needs to offer literally every option imaginable.

Second Life can provide all of your anthro/fursona/OC concepts without turning WoW into a lolfest.

Just because it’s fun to you does not mean that you need to play it through this medium.

Not only in vanilla, but even BEFORE Vanilla.

Most of the world’s races were Anthros.

Again…do you understand what WoW has always had/been?

WoW has also never offered a diminutive sentient bunny race. So I guess we can both cope.

Most of the things people ask for around here are ridiculous, already on offer in other places, and just “omg I want that because lolololol uwu”

There was literally a race of Sentient Rabbit people, in the same RTS games that featured the Pandaren.

Also, the Virmen are sentient Bunny People in MoP. Hearthstone’s art that looks more like a traditional rabbitfolk, are just some kind of nicer/evolved form of them.

Or you can just cope, because I understand the in-universe setting.

Again, Rabbit people existed in WoW before WoW was WoW.

Not to mention MOST fantasy settings include Anthro races. Same with Syfy settings like Stargate, Startrek, and Star Wars.
