When in doubt just google the word and the context;
‘ r14 wow classic’ is all I searched
R14 was the old PvP ranking from Vanilla, where you had 14 ranks, with the Rank 14 being Grand Marshall (alliance) and High Warlord (horde), where you would have access to PvP weapons and armor of epic quality and were one of the best available in game until AQ40/Naxx.

The old PVP system had 14 ranks. The highest being Grand Marshal and High Warlord, and you got gear rewards for being Rank 14, which were sometimes better than some raid pieces.
