Same here. I was a shoot-em-up fan. Wished Konami allow people to use their franchise to make more.

True that. I haven’t heard much from Konami since Metal Gear Solid 5.

The closest thing I’ve seen to shoot-em-ups nowadays are the “bullet hell” anime shooters.
