Highlight the text you want to quote and a quote icon should pop up. Hope that helps.

^ You could always do this on the old forums if you wanted to easily select only part of a post. Not sure why they removed the button for an easy quote the whole post, though…

When you reply to someone, at the top left of the chatbot you type in is a chat bubble. If you click on that I quoted who you’re replying as well.

Ahhh, well that is not intuitive at all compared to a quote option on the box itself.

You can also hit reply, and there is a quote button next to the bold option. No highlighting required.

Tried quoting something off the new forums earlier at the beginning of a thread and it didnt have a box, just the brackets for quoting. Must be a bug
It was mentioned elsewhere that people in the Overwatch forums would respond to one of the Great Wall of Text™ posts the Jeff Kapalan would write, quoting the entire thing just to say “Hi Jeff!”. Since Watcher makes similar posts here as do other blues, they probably removed it to keep that from happening.
