Story is a vaild reason regardless of how bad you may consider it to be.
Personally I’m indifferent to the story but there are times when I get a spark of curiosity and wonder about the lore of certain things.
In my opinon LFR should be added in Cataclysm (I have no doubt that it’ll be in for MoP) mainly because I would like to raid with my other 85’s but I don’t want to commit to fixed schedule with them. I raid on my Mage, I’ve always raided on my Mage but sometimes I’d like to raid on my Rogue, Warrior, Boomie and Feral Druids or my recent 85 Priest. I don’t like the fact that for them to get gear from Dragon Soul I’ll need to do dungeons that I’ve been doing since Cataclysm launched. So far Protocol: Infernos are horrible but it was fine in WotLK because of the additional mechanics but increased health and damage isn’t fun.
I guess it’s a wait and see with how the Protocol: Twilight dungeons handle the oozes, it might be fun but I’m very cynical of it actually being a fun addition.
Instead of quitting I’ll do the catch up mechanics with heroics and the twilight heroics and do DS normal. I actually did this originally in Cata, no reason I can’t now.

Did you mean to reply to me? I’m not quitting.
That’s awesome to hear! It’s great to see you’re embracing the catch-up mechanics with heroics, Twilight heroics, and tackling Dragon Soul on normal difficulty. It’s fantastic that you’re leveraging your experience from the original Cataclysm to make the most of this phase. Wishing you the best of luck and tons of fun in your adventures!
Keep pushing forward and enjoy the journey. ![:tada: :tada:](https://d38bqls1q93fod.cloudfront.net/en/wow/images/emoji/twitter/tada.png?v=12)
Your post looks so sarcastic it’s funny.

It was not meant to be sarcastic. I’m genuinely happy that they are not quitting and are going to continue enjoying the game that I’ve enjoyed for the last 20 years.
He’s a sockpuppet of the DK who wont stop using AI responses.
His low post count and all his recent posts being in LFR threads adding nothing but another sounding board for AI posting.
If I’m wrong I’m wrong but I really do not think I am.

Maybe it’ll upgrade from ChatGPT to Deepseek. But still hypocritical posts full of nonsense.

This isn’t an airport departures don’t need to be announced. Just leave, No one cares and the ones that do are just echo chambers waiting to repeat the same old tired shlt while they continue to sub and play the thing they nonstop complain about.

I’m confused. Clearly you value the sense of achievement associated with actively participating in completing the content. Why would you settle for the lesser version of it? If you were as committed to finding a guild/raid team to join as you are to advocating for Raid Finder being added to Cataclysm, you’d probably be clearing heroic bosses in no time. And for clarity, I’m not opposed to Raid Finder as an option for casuals or less social players. I just think it’s silly to deny yourself the experience all together because your expectations weren’t met by the development team. My Guild raids overnight, we have to take randoms into a consistent 5/7 FL every week. Several have stuck around and become permanent members of our raid team without ever joining. This is not unique to us. Several of our Members have permanent raid spots with other guilds on their alts under similar circumstances. I’m just saying, there are options out there for people in your situation. Maybe don’t put all your eggs in the Raid Finder basket?
Well for starters I’m not referring to myself. I have a raid group. LFR’s removal does not impact me personally one bit. I’m advocating for it for the sake of others who don’t want to or can’t dedicate themselves to a dedicated raid group and/or risk joining a pug

I have to admit Breayanna – I thought that was pretty clear in your responses.
Fair enough, I just had that impression due to the tone the OP’s visceral reaction set for the thread and your level of engagement within it. Your cause is noble, I just wish people would temper their expectations of a development team that keeps taking so many Ls, deserved or otherwise. Blizzard does not attract the talent it once did, and I’m not saying that the current team lacks passion or know how, but the company’s now infamous reputation obviously limits the pool of professionals they have to draw from. It’s a “lemon into lemonade” situation for us all.
Oh I definitely agree on that front, I just find it absurd that they had to remove LFR precisely because they tried to change it, and couldn’t get it to work, rather than just keeping it as it is. Like, they could have put in less effort for (in my opinion) a better result than what we have now. Or, will have, as it were

Indeed. I think there is currently some level of “making it their own” going on with this team that isn’t necessary. I get the motivation behind it, but if it’s not broken…well you know.
