Nothing on alts is grindy either especially with the rep books at revered.
Out of curiosity, what would be something “grindy” as a point of reference?
I’ve tried to remain hopeful, but I’ve also noticed I just haven’t been logging into MoP really since. There are other versions of the game… I’m getting more into Retail PvP, which is interesting (as in I didn’t expect to enjoy it).
I might come back to MoP, but I think with Legion Remix just around the corner, and TBC Anniversary coming up, there might not be much of a reason for me to.

OSRS Ultimate IM is considered “grindy”
Could you explain that a little, as I’m unfamiliar with what those are.
I was also actually hoping for a WoW reference to establish “grindy” in context.

How many times, in these forums, did people warn about going to Grobulus? HOw many posts from current Grob players were there, with them BEGGING to be able to free Xfer off? This guy did ZERo research, he saw “WORLD PVP!!! GROBULUS!!! YEAH!!!” and jumped in with both feet, now he dont like it lmao. News flash: Everything you did on Benediction PvP wise, is available on Ra-Den lol, its 100% the same. Sorry but ya gotta eat this bro, it was your choice and you chose wrong.
I don’t know why people complain about 3-5k people on a server not enough, when many of those complainers aren’t even nice to the people around them.
you really dont need to announce your departure.
I dont know i have 3 characters at 90. First time around the game felt grindy because of how slow it was for the rep.
2nd and 3rd time around was less grindy i had kiaxlaxxi rep at exalted before i even finished the zone quests.
Doesn’t even matter.
Looks like the game quit on us.
Absolute trash company.
Yeah, I don’t know. I’m just curious what people think of as “grindy” versus not. I felt like monkey run leveling early on was grindy, but that was because it was repetitive. 85-90 with relatively few dungeons (if you enjoy dungeon grindy) feels a little more grindy, maybe partially because it’s only 5 levels for what would have been 10 in TBC and Wrath.
I wouldn’t describe MoP as “grindy” but there’s something about it, that I can’t quite put my finger on, that feels less fun than previous versions of the game, for me. I’m not sure what it is, maybe it’s a lack of nostalgia as I didn’t really play it the first time. I don’t look forward to any of the dungeons, and the raids seem pretty generic to me, but I’m not typically that into raiding anyway. I kind of enjoyed Wrath/Cata raids, to an extent.
Yeah, I did dailies on one character to exalted, and that was enough for me. There were kind of a lot of dailies to do, and it took a fair bit of time, but of course I didn’t have to do all the dailies every day; I just did. I don’t know if I’d call that grindy either, as it didn’t take very long to get to exalted and no longer have much of any reason to do dailies.
Anyway, I’d still like to know what is considered “grindy” such that we can point to something and say, “That is not grindy.”

I made this post in the hopes that I may deter someone from 1) making same mistakes as I did 2) give them an idea of the current state of the game. Just because you don’t care doesn’t mean someone else will be the same. But thanks for stating your worthless opinion.
Bye Felicia
Have you tried the Anglers?
It depends on if you think you need the valor rep gear or not Some people thought that they did
If you remove that from the equation - It’s about 10 hours of RBGs for 25k conq - It’s about 20-30 hours of celestials to get fully equipped + black prince attuned p1 (MAX)
Everything else is just at your own leisure/pace or as the weekly resets allow.
MoP is the single most casual-friendly expac that is still fundamentally playable for everyone else
(cough cough - not counting maintenance blunders cough)
Mate the sentiment is the same. No one needs saving lmfao it’s a video game. Stop being so dramatic and get a life
games not that grindy. i work 60 hours a week and have 2 toons with black prince at revered and one at 497 and the other at 505. i have one at exalted for the reps i cared about and the other has 1 exalted but eh i didnt need the rep gear anymore. im thinking about starting another alt
the real grind comes with legion and the rest due to m+
I get you’ve been a neck beard a very long time, but logging in for as many dailies as mop has a day is excessive for the average human
No, Grobb definitely feels pretty underpopulated. Reminds me of thoes 200ish pop wow pservers.
The only time I see more than 2 ppl at a time is going to pvp vendors and sometimes there’s a decent # in shrine but generally it’s pretty sparse.
I’m not sure if layers are being forced sooner or what but the last few days I haven’t seen more than 10-20 of each class at 90
Players: you destroyed classic, you screwed your old game, we will quit /cry
blizzard: Why Quit The Game When you still have active game time go try retail, we’re bringing the beloved housing system there soon. ![]()
Oh I agree with you WPvP is bad and even with the free transfers not many went to Grobb
