Hi. I’m posting this from an anonymous character because I don’t want to call out names.
I’ve been playing PvP for many years. I love this season’s Gladiator mount so I decided that it had to be mine somehow. I really focused a lot. Got to 2400 rating with a long time friend and someone we met in LFG. Sadly they both can’t play as much as I can, one of them will probably quit soon, so I tried to get someone else to finish my Glad wins (need like 40…). So I wrote to some people on the ladder by reaching out to them, asking them if they were up for playing with me. Literally everyone that had good rating (2400+) and some experience replied that they would play with me only for money, with a hourly ratio.
I’d like to point out that this also happened for me in Shadowlands Season 2. Some of you may remember that the ladder was very inflated. I got to 2900 while farming my Gladiator wins so I had the impression that after all pushing Rank 1 was relatively possible. I literally was only offered to pay from 35 to 50 per hour, PER PLAYER, to get it. That was my only option. So I stopped. Nobody plays in LFG on that rating, I had absolutely no way of getting partners normally and apparently I could only pay. What the hell?
I’m fed up with this. Bye WoW PvP. You’re forcing me to spend money to get in-game rewards because the game has turned into an economy for the top players.
None of this happened and how posting from main wouldve made you call out names if you didnt call out name from this one. I saybyoure about 1800 rating and never pierced above that
Doors and I can help with your rank 1 push. We only charge 1 fish sandwich each per hour. Wendy’s, Popeyes, and McDonald’s are all acceptable forms of payment. We require the sandwiches prior to queueing though as we’re old and need sustenance. We also need a nap session every three hours. We like to watch the following movies while we doze, Tombstone, Master and Commander and if we’re feeling nostalgic, Homeward Bound.
What do I gain by lying on this? People belittling this are the customers on the first place, or the boosters. This stuff runs rampant on high rating and everybody knows.
As if nobody remembers the WW/Resto shaman in the past seasons on 1800 or on 2600 (up and down every few days) with like 6000 games played (glad, no pun intended hah! they got banned). Doesn’t last forever at least. It’s just a bit less common right now because of Solo Shuffle. Have a good day, if you will ever climb you will see how you cannot get Rank 1 normally in this game. It’s gatekept by people with 10 alts and that do this as a job. W/e. Bye.
Best I can do is a half eaten ham sandwich, a small bag of cool ranch Doritos (filled mostly with air and 7 chips) and a “Back to the Future” marathon, followed up with “Look who’s talking 2”
I agree somewhat. Its very hard and difficult to get higher rated for cool mogs and mounts and things. I wish they made it easier to gain rating like maybe increase the rating won per game significantly and decrease rating lost. I’d like that.
2400 is top 600 right now. Anyone with this caliber of skill in a deflated season wouldn’t get deterred from issues in LFG, and without an end date for s1 (most likely, earliest is sometime in may) there is a ton of time to farm the wins so complaining right now is pretty suspect.
