Quitting because did not get desired name

Anyone planning to quit because they did not get the name they wanted?

This reminds me of high school where we had 2 band groups - one was the Wind Ensemble, the elite group that required an audition, and the other was the Symphonic Band, which was open to everyone. At the beginning of the school year, you needed to audition to get into the Wind Ensemble, and they were very selective. Most people got rejected and had to settle for Symphonic Band. Many students who were passionate about playing instruments decided that if they didn’t get into Wind Ensemble, they would straight up quit.

I can understand people feeling like their WoW classic experience is ruined if they can’t get the name they want.

Nah. I’m not that petty. I love classic and had multiple names ready for this reason…

I dont think people are raging about not getting the name they wanted, but more so the fact of being DCed 40 times in a row and not being able to get in when others can.

I won’t lie, I thought about quitting. But in the end, I just thought of a name that wasn’t taken, that was actually better than the name I originally thought I wanted.

Maybe . . . but only if the name they wanted was Precious.
