There is zero advantage in battleground beyond skill and communication of your team. If you are facing lots of premades and want to even the playing field then make your own premade, or join one. There…now you are on an even ground again.
If you feel like you don’t want to do premades/don’t have time to join premades/don’t like to join premades then you shouldn’t expect the same ease of gameplay as those who do have time/desire and enjoy premades. Pretty simple stuff.
(edit) For the record i don’t join premades myself…but i also don’t complain when i see them either.

They also ensure a proper group comp. One major issue with pugs in not having a healer. A good FC is also a plus, though not as important since a priest or two can heal anyone with little effort.

This seems analogous to raiding. If I don’t have 5+ hours to spend in BFD, I should probably join an organized team. If I couldn’t be bothered to join a team, It’ll take a lot longer to accomplish the same things.

well then making your own premade also accomplishes the same goal…however most people want easy rep…it’s as simple as that.

Idk why it should be SO easy to get WSG exalted at level 25. It’s so silly. Should’ve capped it at revered.
Edit: competitive games are much more fun, on the premade side and the non-premade side. The number of people farming WSG all day long so they they’ll have 6 more stats is crazy. It cannot possibly be fun.
And it’s not fun for the random groups either.
This is a game, it should be fun.

I play Classic and premades can be a problem for sure - at times. In SoD it’s far beyond the Era experience, it’s pretty much every game of WSG. New players are not gonna be down, I’m sure.

What you are describing is Rated Battle Grounds on Retail. We don’t want to do Rated BGs. We want to do casual random BGs with random players. That’s the whole point of regular BGs.
The answer is not joining a Premade because I don’t want to be in a Premade. That’s what Retail is for when competing in Rated content.
So the real answer is Solo Que which would fix BGs and give us the PvP we always wanted from casual BGs.

No. The onus is on the game designers to ensure competitive integrity within their own PvP systems, not the players. The vast majority of games that offer PvP make sure players are on an equal playing field with intelligent matchmaking systems.

If i have 30 minutes to play, I would like to be able to login, join WSG, play a reasonably okay game, then logout. I don’t want to get GY camped, I don’t want to have to be in comms and join a random discord, I don’t want to have to go to org for a gear check. I just want to vibe to some music and chill.
Oh and guess what, the VAST majority of players want this too.
Edit: if joining some random group of nobodies that happens to have 2 priests, 3 hunters, and a strong druid FC is the only thing you need to do to get WSG exalted at level 25, something is wrong.

premades are only a problem if you also refuse to do premades…You expect blizzard to come fix your self inflicted disadvantage?
