I basically never post to forums. But, I’ve been spamming Malygos for weeks to get the Hailstorm xmog. 25+ clears and it STILL has not dropped. The Blue Azure Drake mount has dropped 3 times and hailstorm (with 7x the drop rate) can’t drop once?? Anyone else had any infuriating xmog hunts lately? Almost smashed my keyboard today.

In the industry, we call this “bad juju”. And nah, not really. I go after mounts more than mogs these days.
The Blue Drake drops from 10 man, the Azure Drake drops from 25 man. Which are you running? It looks like Hailstorm drops in 10 man, so if you’re getting Azure drake drops (I couldn’t tell if you meant Blue Drake or Azure Drake), then you’re probably farming the wrong instance.

I am currently farming the tusks in Siege and it is rather time consuming.

Every time I have a low drop rate rant like Emily Littella, turns out I was farming the wrong mobs and end up doing a “oops never mind”.
Pretty funny if you didn’t spend the last week doing the wrong thing. >_<

Azure drake and blue drake both have a chance to drop off of
10 mand AND 25 man.

Are you sure you are running the right version of the raid? Afaik Hailstorm only drops from either 10 or 25, but not both. So if you run the wrong raid, you’ll never get it.
Was thinking that too. I remember reading somewhere when I was farming them that one of the difficulties dropped both.
I farmed for a leather chest piece from Tortos in ToT for AGES across 3 or 4 leather classes. I actually got the Horridon mount before I got the armor.
I had no idea it only drops in 10 man. The site I looked it up on didn’t mention that little piece of (essential) trivia. I’ve been running it on 25 and azure is the mount that’s kept dropping. Thanks for the tip!
