How many of you have smart phones and how many hours a day do you spend on them?
For example, I only spend about 30-45 min. a day on mine.
Depends. When im at home with the family i rarely touch my phone. But at work, its part of the job

I can see having to use it for work. I kind of wonder though on the social aspect of it though, like searching Youtube, Tiktok, Facebook or looking up things like WoW guides, etc.
I used to use my phone a lot. Lately, it’s just an mp3 player for me.
Sadly, most screen time goes to the forums as its a convenient way of making time pass faster (work is 13 hours long).
Outside of that though its mainly a few text messages to the kids/wife/family, or a few hours on outdoors apps like all trails or gps ones for finding public land for hiking/fishing/camping

Outside of the bare necessities, i do not utilize my phone. All the options and “conveniences” that come with it…i know nothing of them lol. Phone calls, texts, internet. Thats about it lol
I have had a smart phone since they first came out. It is an essential work tool. The calendar, email, and text tools are indispensable for work.
Few years ago a lot. Did a lot of social media. Now my phone is a phone. I call my husband. I text my best friend. I check social once a day.

I spend a lot of time on my phone.
I’m at that age where I take care of elderly parents, sick siblings, young nieces and nephews… always something going on I have to help someone with.
I don’t have Twitter or Facebook or instagram though. The WoW Forums are the only social media I use, if you can even call it that.
Mine is very varied.
Workdays - barely:
During my work week my phone usage is minimal - where I work you can’t take them past the door to the building. You must leave them in your car and lock the car. Then lock your car keys in a small box to which you get a key for (my life for the last 4 years).
Off-work:
I do think I compensate for the lack of time while at work by spending a lot of time when I’m by myself on my phone. I found when I had a GF we’d talk a lot more instead but since I’m by myself I either browse news, forums, X, Insta or YouTube. Easily 3-4 hours a day.
No NSA here, I’m just a friendly extroverted repair guy from some obscure, never heard of cable company.
I think I average 2-3 hours. Some of that is reading news on my phone when I wake up, I commute to work on public transport so that takes up screen time.
i use it quite a bit, mostly when nothing else is going on. my wife is on hers at least 10 hours a day and i don’t know how she does it

People are really worried about how much time they spend on smart phones when your average WoW player probably spends many hours every day sitting at a computer lol.
Depends. I spend a lot of time sitting and waiting on doc appointments, tests, etc for myself or mom. So I’ll be on the forums while waiting. Same if I’m cooking and waiting on things. Or if I’m just couch bound due to some random part of my body breaking down. lol
Sometimes that’s not often. Sometimes that’s quite often.

It depends.
I take transit a lot, and I’m always on my phone then because it beats looking out the bus/metro window lol.
At home, I’ll just be on my PC instead.
Only on the phone when I’m out and about, and not busy.
My phone actually tells me if my usage is up or down or not, I want to say ~3 hours a day, average?
Sometimes higher if I’m travelling.
I do like to watch videos and read articles, whilst on my phone.
