Quick one, how do i sort characters by realm?

this new character-menu’s weird, and i can’t figure out how to arrange my toons by realm. any of you folks who know how to do it care to share that information?

that’s… not exactly sorting characters. that’s just scrolling through them.

You have to drag and drop them into the order you want. There’s no way to do it automatically.

Yup you scroll the characters from each realm in order you want it to be . Hope you don’t have 50 characters

worse… i have 60, and i’m trying to look through them, to find one that’s ‘safe’ to delete… :person_facepalming:

this patch sucks…

Not available, but you can help us (or me) by submitting feedback about it, in game.

Trying to request that the “Search Filter” filters by “realm”. Seeing as how it filters by “name”, “level”, “profession”, etc. Anything but “realm”.

If enough of us bring it to Blizz’s attention, maybe (no guarantee) they’ll do it.

I do. And I’m now convinced Blizz wants me to delete them with this new update.

I just did this today. I moused over each character and read which realm they were on and moved them to suit. It SUCKED, but it’s done now.

The Addon Altoholic sorts them on its menu.
Not exactly the same I know.

On WHAT planet did Blizzard think players would NOT want to sort by Realm??? FFS how much of a muppet must you be to design a system like this??? lol. How can a billion dollar company keep pushing out systems that simply just suck?! The Campsites are an awesome idea, but just having 100 toon from 30 servers appear in some random stupid order, without the ability to filter or sort them, wth?! Bangs head on keyboard

Although there’s no sort feature period without manually moving characters yourself (and possibly using multiple camps to keep groups of 4 in some order), you can filter by realm using the search, since they added realms to filter type not long after they added the new character select screen. Typing in the realm did not work when the original posts here were made, but it has been there since not too long after they were made. :dracthyr_shrug:

You can sort them. Manually.
