correct me if im wrong but, when we tried to login first stress test day, mostly everyone sat 2500-3000 person queues.
so maybe there were a total of around 3-5k people trying to sign on?
they probably only sent stress test invites to like 10k people?
they arent inviting more people for second stress test, i dont think… so be happy u got the invite.
My best guess is that they split the que into several different ques in order to decrease the wait time.
Another way to think of this is going to fast food restaurant and there being only one line. In order to get through the line faster they would open up a second register and split the line into two separate lines.
I am going to hope they had way more then that many due to server overload, if they can’t handle 5k…
My guess was 10-15k with all the layers etc. But yeah it does seem like even just a stress test takes a decent amount of luck to get in to. Gotta account for what seemed like many people that got an invite, but didn’t get to play because of the PTR bug as well. so maybe even up to 20k. Just spitballing though. No idea.
