I hate these notifications. I do not care if a friend has joined a battleground. Let me disable it.
That’s an ElvUI feature, not a Blizzard one. If you go to the ElvUI menu, under Chat, there should be an option to disable Quick Join messages.

I don’t have ElvUI.
No, its on stock ui. Helps me get guildies in dungeons.
Oh, well if you wanna mute it, it is an option in ElvUI. I have it disabled and I don’t see it.

I think there’s a way to turn it off in stock setting too, but I am not sure.
Maybe try social options?
