You can queue battlegrounds from 66-70 and have 15k points, enough to buy a full honor set when you ding 70.

Some wanna get carried, some are working on honor. Either way, if you want to play with guaranteed geared individuals, do rated. It’s not complicated.

I tried to go in bgs with 100k hp.
People blamed be for the loss lmao. Right? Like their strat wasn’t the problem or the otherside wasn’t a premade with a wall of tank in the front lines.
When you have 100k, your CC works the same, siege damage works the same.
It takes a couple hours to fully gear in honor, some want to save 15k gold that it would cost to get full green gear.
I chose to get green gear in the end because getting 1 by a healer isnt fun.
But I dont buy honor gear, just going to wait and buy season 3 gear.
400k hp champion ready to serve.
At this point i’m convinced theres a whole community of 300k hp players who reroll to a new 300k hp alt as soon as they get close to full honor gear and never actually contribute to a bg as a decently geared person lmao

You can but why not get a head start?
That is why I am honor capped by the time I ding 70, so I can immediately do rated battleground.
The only way to gain honor gear without doing random BG’s is doing pvp while leveling and get around 11k honor, so at 70 you can buy all pieces.

If people want to play in PVP BG’s with a minimum required iLevel, what are they doing playing in normal and epic bg’s?
Are they too lazy? Are they too afraid of competition in rated play and that’s why they are slumming in low level bg’s?
If it’s such a big deal, than WoW should have some kind of template system where everyone has a fixed amount of resources to spend on gear.
Asking that players voluntarily enter low level/casual bg’s already geared is just incredibly naive. It’s pointless with they way that PVP is currently designed.
