I thought queues were supposed to go down by the increases? My queue on Herod is over 11k. I would happily transfer off the server, but I have already invested time in my character and I would rather not start over. And some of my friends won’t start over because they took the whole week off and have been able to login before the peak times.
Please either increase the amount of people that can be logged in until it dies down, or give free xfers off of Herod and other Full Servers. Just adding new servers help the people who haven’t got on at all, but not people who have already invested time into their characters.
If you honestly feel a server transfer is necessary, just start over on another server… Its literally a couple days old. The amount of kids on here asking for transfers AFTER blizzard had told you guys to join different servers and such. They arent giving transfers out.
Giving out free transfers to everyone creates terrible fluctuations in faction population, at least thats what it id in the past.
Swallow your pride, reroll on another server if you are to bothered by the queue. Best case is you loose a couple days of progression. Boo hoo.
Yes, but when your friends characters are over 25 because they took time off and have been able to play, its not as simple. I started playing classic to play with those friends.
Obviously not all queues on all servers went down to zero. There still are some huuuuge populations out there, especially on the PvP servers. My PvE server went from a 45 minute wait on Tuesday evening to no wait at all last night.
10-72 hours of personal time invested lol. what the hell are you talking about. Unless you are a kid skipping school, or a useless member of society not doing anything with your life, or you called out sick/used PTO for the WoW launch. This personal time investment isnt worth anything. EVEN if you did those things. skipping/calling sick/PTO for a wow classic launch and you chose the MOST popular server is the dumbest thing Ive ever heard. You obviously havnt been using ur precious personal time wisely if thats the case.
I agree. Everyone thinks its just easy to throw away any time we already played and our friends have played. I don’t mind a queue. Just not a 11k queue that takes 7 hours to just get in.
Lol well here I will make it simple for you. log out then queue up after 10-15 minutes and then wake up and ur in the game. How is it anyone elses problem including blizzards. to accomodate how you use ur time. If they open to many servers you can see the issue.
This is the dumbest thing I have heard. We choose our servers during naming reservations, not after the game launched. They should have locked down name reservations when they saw it was going to make the servers full and started opening more servers.
Yes I called out sick the day after the wow launch and played until 5 am. But I also have played since then and my friends have taken vacation.
Regardless, we picked our server BEFORE LAUNCH or knowing there was going to be an 11 hour queue.
I’m on incendius and queues are 5-6k everyday so far. I moved from herod but I think everyone else did too haha. I think most are just afraid to move to new servers because they don’t want to end up on a dead server a month from now. Short term problem is the queues.
Although the real question is, if classic has the staying power and most never leave? we will have to wait and see.
Lol they told you about a day after name reservations they were expecting long queues and to move servers. How is it that they do this, you completely disregard their warning and then exactly what they said will happen, happens. YOU complain about it lol.
Also no you cant say that all servers are under queue and its a crapshow. There are tons of servers to choose from. Sorry, you didnt plan it right. Sorry you feel that its a reason to come on the forums and complain about such a non issue. Especially one that wont even exist in a couple weeks.
